Inspired by kids
It was whilst watching my own kids choose books that I came up with the idea for the Tidybooks kids bookcase. Like most children, they pulled books out from conventional childrens shelves to look at the front covers, rather than choose them from the spines. And, of course, all of the books ended up in a messy pile on the floor!
Keeps books tidy
I can't promise that, but it will certainly help. The front panels help to keep books secure on the shelf while other books are being picked off the shelf. It will also encourage your kids to enjoy tidying their books after a big reading session, or even get them arranging books in order of size... if they are so inclined.

A love of books
I turned to the experts to prove a hunch: that the Tidybooks bookcase helps to plant a love of books and reading in children. My design was applauded by language expert, Dr. Klaus-Dieter Rossade of The Open University who said; "This quality piece of furniture is both a practical storage solution and a learning vehicle...giving words and images a firm place in your house, your children learn to appreciate the importance and fun of books".
