Butterflies & bees baby sleeping bags come in three sizes:
Size 1 - birth (4kg) up to six months
Size 2 – six up to 18 months
Size 3 – 12 months up to two years when folded and three years when extended.
Sizes 1 and 2 have side zips and shoulder snap fastening to allow easy changing. Size 3 has a centre zip, complete with zip cover. The centre zip fastens from the bottom preventing any escapes.
Available in two tog ratings:
1.0 tog for warmer rooms and summer nights; also ideal for daytime naps
2.5 tog standard weight for use throughout the year
Baby sleeping bags have become an essential part of the bedtime routine, the safe and comfortable way for all babies to sleep. SLUMBERSAC simply replace duvets, blankets and top sheets. Baby cannot kick off, or slip down under the covers, remaining at a
comfortable temperature while getting plenty of freedom to kick and wriggle.
It is quite natural for babies to wake regularly during the night, particularly in the first six months. However, extensive research has proven that when waking, babies wriggle causing them to kick off, tangle in, or even slip down under conventional bedcovers. Either way, baby becomes too hot or too cold and uncomfortable. It is this discomfort which causes distress and the inevitable crying! Sleeping Bags replace blankets, duvets and top sheets, keeping your baby at a comfortable temperature throughout the night.
Slumbersac Baby Sleeping Bags come in three sizes. Remember a sleeping bag is not an exact fit and a good general rule is ‘bigger is better’. Baby’s feet should come to around 50% / 66% down the length of the bag to allow plenty of freedom to kick and wriggle. Please graduate to a larger size before your baby’s feet get to the foot of the bag
Size 1 fits from birth up to 6 months. Before using your Slumbersac it is advisable to wait until your baby is over 8lb (3.5Kg).
Size 2 fits from approx. 6 months up to around 18 months.
Size 3 fits babies up to three years.
This size has an extension facility; when folded your Slumbersac will be long enough
for most babies under 2 years of age. When extended it will fit up to approx. three
years. Size three sleeping bags all open at a centre zip. This enables older babies to
wriggle and sit up without putting stress on the shoulder snaps.

Slumbersac sleeping bags for babies are all machine washable and easily tumble dried. Our baby sleeping bags are generously cut in three sizes to fit babies from just after Birth up to approx 3 years. Choose from two tog ratings - 2.5 tog standard tog for general year round use and 1 tog for warm rooms and summer nights
All sizes and togs are made without arms to allow your baby to maintain a constant body temperature when asleep. Simply adjust your baby's nightwear to help to ensure your baby neither overheats nor get too cold.
